Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Veridict AI, a technical AI probability assessment service for uploaded PDF, DOCX, and TXT documents.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Veridict AI, creating an account, uploading a document, purchasing a report, or viewing an assessment result, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the platform, upload files, create an account, purchase a report, or rely on any result generated through the service.

These Terms apply to all users of Veridict AI, including visitors, registered users, customers, and users who submit documents for AI probability assessment.

2. Nature of the Service

Veridict AI provides a technical, probability-based assessment of uploaded documents. The platform is designed to estimate the likelihood that a document may have been generated by, written with the assistance of, or influenced by artificial intelligence.

The service may use multiple AI APIs, technical document signals, text-pattern indicators, document-level review logic, and moderation workflows to produce an optimized AI probability score.

The result is presented as a probability assessment. It is not a definitive statement that a document was or was not written by artificial intelligence.

  • Supported file types include PDF, DOCX, and TXT.
  • Each payment applies to one uploaded file and the selected report package.
  • The service is intended to support review, not replace human judgment.

3. No Guaranteed AI Detection

Veridict AI is designed to provide a strong probability estimate by combining multiple AI APIs and technical review signals. However, no AI-detection system can guarantee absolute certainty for every document.

AI-generated writing, human writing, edited writing, translated writing, paraphrased writing, and AI-assisted writing may overlap in style and structure. For that reason, all results must be interpreted as probability-based technical assessments only.

The platform does not guarantee that any score, label, percentage, reliability mark, written explanation, or PDF report is perfectly accurate, complete, final, or suitable as the sole basis for a decision.

  • The service does not provide legal proof.
  • The service does not provide academic misconduct proof.
  • The service does not provide disciplinary proof.
  • The service does not provide a guaranteed final AI-detection verdict.

4. Report Packages

Veridict AI may offer different report packages. The features available to a user depend on the package selected and paid for at the time of upload.

The AI Percentage Only package provides an AI probability score and score reliability when the review is complete. It does not include a moderator written explanation and does not include a downloadable full PDF report.

The Full AI Report package provides an AI probability score, score reliability, moderator written explanation, review notes about AI-like patterns, and a downloadable PDF report when the review is complete.

  • AI Percentage Only users must not attempt to access Full Report features without purchasing the Full AI Report package.
  • Full AI Report access applies only to the file and transaction for which it was purchased.
  • Report contents may vary depending on the document, review status, file quality, and assessment reliability.

5. Score Reliability and Star Results

Veridict AI may display a score reliability level, such as Low Reliability, Medium Reliability, or High Reliability. This reliability indicator reflects the review confidence associated with the assessment result.

In some cases, very low AI probability results may be shown with a star mark instead of a precise percentage. A star result means that the AI probability is within the 0% to 20% range.

A star result does not mean that the document is guaranteed to be fully human-written. It means only that the assessment places the result in a low AI-probability range.

6. User Accounts and Account Security

Users may be required to create an account to upload files, purchase reports, view results, download eligible reports, or access support features.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.

Users must provide accurate account information and must not impersonate another person, use another person’s account without permission, or attempt to bypass authentication controls.

  • You must not share your account credentials with unauthorized persons.
  • You must notify support if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
  • Veridict AI may restrict access where account misuse, security risk, or unauthorized activity is detected.

7. Uploaded Documents and User Responsibility

By uploading a document, you confirm that you have the right, permission, or lawful basis to submit that document for AI probability assessment.

You must not upload documents that you are not authorized to process, share, review, or submit through the platform.

You remain responsible for the content of documents you upload and for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws, institutional rules, academic policies, employment rules, and third-party rights.

  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful, stolen, confidential, or unauthorized materials.
  • Do not upload documents containing unnecessary sensitive personal data.
  • Do not use the platform to harass, defame, threaten, or unfairly target another person.

8. Temporary Storage, File Deletion, and Internal Reference Codes

Uploaded files are stored temporarily for the purpose of providing the requested assessment. Files are deleted after 12 hours or earlier if deleted by the user.

During the review period, uploaded files may be associated with internal anonymous reference codes for processing, access control, review workflow, logging, and report generation purposes.

The platform is designed not to keep uploaded documents permanently after the assessment period. Uploaded files are not intended to be made publicly accessible, indexed by search engines, or exposed through public file URLs.

  • Files are retained only for the assessment period.
  • Files are deleted after 12 hours or earlier when deleted by the user.
  • Access to uploaded files is limited to authorized account and review workflows.
  • Upload, payment, download, and review actions may be logged for security and audit purposes.

9. Privacy and KVKK-Aware Processing

Veridict AI is designed with privacy-conscious and KVKK-aware principles for users in Türkiye and other supported regions.

Documents are processed for the purpose of providing the requested AI probability assessment, managing user accounts, maintaining security, preventing abuse, enabling payment-related access control, and delivering eligible reports.

The platform uses essential cookies for login, session security, CSRF protection, and account access. Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to function securely.

  • The platform is designed around limited retention.
  • The platform is designed around controlled access.
  • The platform is designed around purpose-limited document processing.
  • The platform is designed not to use uploaded files as publicly accessible materials.

10. Payments, Access, and Package Restrictions

Where payment is required, access to report features depends on successful payment and the selected package.

A payment applies only to the specific uploaded file and report package selected by the user. Payment for one file does not create unlimited access, bulk access, or access to other files.

Users must not attempt to bypass payment controls, access restricted report features, manipulate package permissions, or download reports that are not included in their selected package.

  • AI Percentage Only does not include moderator explanation access.
  • AI Percentage Only does not include downloadable PDF report access.
  • Full AI Report includes report features only for the paid file.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to misuse Veridict AI or use the platform for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

You must not interfere with the platform’s security, attempt to gain unauthorized access, overload the service, scrape restricted areas, reverse engineer protected workflows, or bypass account, payment, upload, download, or review controls.

  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to another user’s files or reports.
  • Do not upload malware, harmful code, or intentionally corrupted files.
  • Do not use automated abuse, scraping, credential attacks, or denial-of-service behavior.
  • Do not misrepresent Veridict AI results as guaranteed proof.
  • Do not use the service to make final disciplinary decisions without independent human review.

12. Third-Party AI APIs and Technical Providers

Veridict AI may use multiple AI APIs, infrastructure services, hosting services, security services, payment-related systems, and technical tools to operate the platform and provide assessment results.

The use of third-party technical systems may be necessary for file processing, AI probability assessment, hosting, security, authentication, payment control, logging, or report generation.

Where third-party systems are used, Veridict AI aims to use them for service-related purposes and within the scope necessary to operate the platform.

13. Intellectual Property

The Veridict AI website, interface, design, workflows, report format, text, branding, layout, software structure, and service logic are protected materials belonging to the platform or its permitted licensors.

Users must not copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, modify, frame, mirror, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the platform or its outputs except as permitted by normal use of the service.

Users retain responsibility for the documents they upload. Uploading a document does not transfer ownership of that document to Veridict AI.

14. Availability and Service Changes

Veridict AI aims to provide reliable access to the platform, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security controls, hosting issues, third-party service interruptions, network issues, payment provider issues, or events outside reasonable control.

Features, pricing, workflows, report structure, supported file types, and technical systems may be updated to improve security, reliability, compliance, or service quality.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veridict AI is not responsible for decisions made solely or primarily based on an AI probability report.

Users and reviewing parties are responsible for interpreting results carefully and for applying independent judgment, institutional procedures, legal requirements, and human review before making any decision based on a report.

Veridict AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, reputational, academic, disciplinary, employment-related, or financial damages arising from misuse, overreliance, misinterpretation, or unauthorized use of the service.

16. No Professional Advice

Veridict AI does not provide legal advice, academic disciplinary advice, institutional compliance advice, or professional investigation services.

Reports generated by the platform should be treated as technical review support only. Users should seek appropriate professional, institutional, or legal guidance where needed.

17. Suspension or Restriction of Access

Access to the platform may be restricted, suspended, or terminated where there is suspected misuse, security risk, unauthorized access, payment abuse, harmful uploads, violation of these Terms, or unlawful activity.

The platform may also restrict access to protect users, documents, infrastructure, payment systems, or review workflows.

18. Interpretation of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions are intended to define the rules for use of Veridict AI and the limits of the AI probability assessment service.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Headings are used for readability and do not limit the meaning of the sections.

Veridict AI provides technical, probability-based document assessment. It does not provide legal proof, academic proof, disciplinary proof, or a guaranteed final AI-detection verdict.
